Slough travelled to an in form Leyton side having themselves suffered back to back home defeats but came away from East London with a morale boosting three points thanks to a late winner from Josias Carbon.

Slough were missing both Darron Wilkinson and Ian Hodges but still managed to take the lead with quarter of an hour gone. Glen Harris worked the ball in from the right having twisted and turned past his man to find Andy Ballard who finished from six yards.

The home side should have got themselves level when Daniel Tenkorang robbed the ball off Mark Avery and slid the ball into the middle for Leli Bajadi. The strikers initial effort was superbly blocked by the slide of Steve Daly and the defender got in another block as the ball looped up and Bajadi's header was going in. The ball bounced around the box before Tenkorang fired wide.

Tenkorang blazed over when well placed but got the assist for Leyton's opening goal. Leigh Mason lost the ball in the left back position for Slough and Tenkorang hit a low shot across goal. Bajadi ran across the line of the shot, controlling the ball in the other direction and with Masters already committed with a dive for the initial shot, Bajadi was left with a simple finish to equalise.

George Sifonios stung the palms of Masters with a strong drive at the near post having been played into space in the area.

Slough had the next opportunity as Garath McCleary fed the ball into the back post and Glen Harris' header was going past James Hassell but Roy Parkyn made a great goal line clearance.

The home side dominated much of the second half but Slough were defending well and did not allow the home side a clear view of Masters goal. Whilst the keeper was called into action on a few occassions, he was never troubled and made routine saves.

In the final minute, with Slough's only real chance of the half they got the winner. Josias Carbon played the ball into Glen Harris and continued his run forwards. The midfielder picked out the run and Carbon finished neatly into the far corner with a side footed volley with Hassell motionless.
