This was another game involving Slough which saw a side lose a two goal advantage this season and this time Slough were the beneficiaries as they overcame a 2-0 Bromley lead to earn three points.
The home side should have taken the lead when a long range shot took a deflection off Steve Daly as the defender attempted to block. Clark Masters got his body behind the ball but could not hold it and Nic McDonnell was first to reach the loose ball but could only direct his effort wide.
McDonnell again went close as he connected to a Sam Wood cross from the left wing but again could not find the target.
Slough then had a glorious opportunity as a long Daly free kick from the half way line was headed over Andy Walker as the home keeper attempted to reach the ball ahead of a crowd of players, but Kevin George reacted superbly to cover round and keep the ball out just before it made it over the line.
The home side did get themselves in front with thirty five minutes gone. A free kick from the half way line on the right found it's way to the back post in the Slough area. The ball was cut back into the path of George who finished neatly with a sidefooted effort under pressure into Masters left hand corner.
Slough brought Walker into action again as Mason found space on the edge of the area but his low drive was saved comfortably. Ian Hodges then went close for Slough, heading a Garath McCleary cross just wide.
The home side extended their lead just before half time. Tutu Henriques was played in down the right and his low cross was met by the outstretched leg of Jones Awuah at the near post and it flicked up over Masters and into the net.
Few would have predicted a Rebels come back in the second half but they did indeed get three goals without reply. Andy Ballard went close from another McCleary cross, heading over from six yards.
Slough got their first of the half after fifty eight minutes. The ball was laid out to Leigh Mason on the left and he passed into Josias Carbon who flicked the ball into the path of John Mousinho. The young midfielder passed the ball to Walker's left and the keeper got good contact on the ball but could not keep it out.
Barry Gardner went close with a long range effort before Carbon should have brought the Rebels level as the defender intercepted an attempted backpass, but Walker was out quickly and was able to deflect the effort up and away.
Slough did eventually draw level with fifteen minutes left to play. Mousinho fed the ball into Mason whose slide rule pass found the run of McCleary. Receiving the ball just inside the right hand side of the box, the pacy forward cut back inside his defender before firing low into the far corner.
The momentum of the game was now firmly in the Rebels favour and they saw Carbon and Ballard both go close with chances. Carbon did get the ball into the back of the net, converting after he saw an effort saved well by Walker, but the referee saw a hand ball in the build up.
Slough were not to be denied and got their reward in the final minute. A long range effort from Ballard bounced back off the post and Hodges was following up and steered the ball home to the delight of the Rebels supporters behind the goal.
