Michael Bartley
A Michael Bartley brace helped the Rebels climb another match closer to the championship contenders at Harlow whose manager Ian Allison quit the club after last Tuesday night's defeat by Windsor & Eton.
To complete a bad week for the Essex side, they finished the game with only nine men while the Rebels had Kieran Gallagher sent off.
Gallagher was already on the score sheet when he went and Keith McPherson's goal six minutes from time saw the Rebels hit the front in the form guide.
They are currently enjoying a spell arguably better than the run before Christmas which sparked their season into life after a dire start. They have conceded defeat once in 11 league and cup matches.
Since January 1, Steve Browne's side has lost once in 10 outings and fired in 23 goals in that time.
Despite the turmoil at Hammarskjold Road last week, Harlow took the lead after they had been reduced to ten men with the red-carding of Marvin Samuel in the 22nd minute. A minute later Martin Young nipped through the Rebels' defence to score.
Bartley came up with an equaliser four minutes later when he was given a free header and Gallagher put Slough ahead in the 39th minute when he forced the ball over the line. Bartley got his head onto Michael Gilkes' cross in the 73rd minute to extend Slough's lead and Haynes wrapped it up after Clement James had done all the spadework.
