Slough looked to put the disappointment of their FA Cup exit behind them as they made the journey to Kent to face Ramsgate but came away empty handed despite taking the lead through debutant Errol Telemaque.
Slough had started brightly and saw a Leigh Mason drive go just wide of the post and then Jamie Jarvis showing some good footwork on the edge of the box seeing his effort deflected wide.
Slough's backline were repelling most of what Ramsgate were able to offer with Michael Yianni firing wide having danced around a number of challenges and Mohammed Takalo having the home sides best chance, as he fired at Kieron Drake from inside the area.
At the other end, Terry Davies missed a glorious chance as he headed wide from a Leigh Mason centre.
The home side started the second half well Drake being called into action twice, both times saving well but Slough still looking dangerous and it was the Rebels who took the lead just before the hour mark.
Steve Dell crossed the ball from the right and Telemaque brought the ball down delightfully whilst turning and finished calmly into the bottom corner.
Slough were reduced to ten men when Adam Wallace was adjudged to have used his elbow in an aerial challenge and was shown the red card.
Being a player down, Slough's attacking options were limited and the home side pushed forwards. They got back on level terms in bizarre circumstances. A long throw from the right was flicked on by the left foot of Jarvis and it looped up over Drake and into the net.
The comeback was completed nine minutes later when a corner from the left was met by the run of Ollie Schulz and he headed home.
