Slough travelled to table topping Lewes in the hope of adding a third straight win to their recent improved form.
Former Rebels goalie Dominique Jean-Zepherin lined up for the Rooks as Slough looked to improve on their performance against bottom of the table Corinthian Casuals.
Slough did finally settle into the game and were keeping their hosts firmly away from a clear sight of Fosters goal and took the lead after 35 minutes.
Haddow again acting as the provider with a run and cross from the left allowing Miller to head home and put the Rebels in the lead.
Slough were in dreamland just five minutes later as they doubled their lead. Spencer won the ball back in midfield and played in Hodges who converted past Jean-Zepherin.
The two goal advantage didn't last long as Lewes managed to pull one back before half time. Newman latched onto a free kick which had gone under the Rebels wall and slotted past Foster.
Slough's luck with injuries continued with the loss of Daly early on in the second half with Murphy coming on to replace the captain.
Lewes got themselves back onto level terms with an hour gone. A goalmouth scramble eventually fell to Davis who was able to prod home.
The home side got their winner in the final minutes of the match as Davis made the most of a mistake from Gyoury to run through and slot past Foster.
A disappointing result for the Rebels, given their position after forty minutes, with injuries now mounting up.
