The Rebels extended their unbeaten home run to 11 games with a much needed win over 8th placed Bromley.
Slough got off to a very quick start and caught their hosts napping with goals from Hodges and Spencer inside the opening four minutes to set them up for a commanding opening period.
The quick start had boosted the Rebels and clearly unsettled the visitors as Slough pushed forward for more, but Haddow shot wide when well placed.
Bromley began to settle and slowly got their way back into the game. Foster had to be at his best to palm out a Winlock shot, but with Hammond approaching the loose ball, Browne got in a tackle and was able to clear to prevent the visitors getting onto the scoresheet.
Miller went close with a long range headed effort which was cleared off the line before the Rebels extended their lead with their third of the evening.
Browne won the ball back and played in Barrowcliff. The midfielder drove forwards only to be fouled just inside the area and a penalty was awarded which Spencer duly converted.
Bromley did strike back however when Forbes' cross was turned into his own net by Murphy.
The three goal advantage was soon restored though as Miller went on a great run, rounding two defenders, before slotting past the Bromley keeper.
With a strong advantage at the start of the second half, Slough looked to play out much of the game to contain their opponents and hitting them on the counter.
Backed by their vocal support, the Lillywhites did manage to get another goal. Danny Smith heading home from close range.
Another game, another set of injuries with some bad luck which seems to be following the Rebels through the season. Hopefully a return to fitness and no more injuries will see the Rebels continue their strong form and maintain a push for a top six promotion position.
