This was a match that saw the Rebels fight against a great deal of pressure.

Despite being without injured skipper Les Briley and the suspended Darren Anderson, the Rebels did well to hold up the Harriers.

We had the first clear-cut chance of the match after five minutes. Andy Sayer's right-wing cross fell to Mark Fiore, but he drove over from eight yards. Thereafter the Aggborough side had a number of corners in quick succession and Mark Foran almost scored an own-goal!

Slough were under pressure for much of the opening 45 minutes and Ian Hazel, Mark Quamina and Andy Sayer all worked hard, without much luck. We fell behind four minutes before the break. A poor defensive clearance from another Harriers corner fell to Hadley who drove home from close-range.

Moments later we won our first corner of the match, but Ian Hazel's first-time effort was blocked and then cleared.

Slough started the second-half the better of the two sides and pulled level on the hour. Mark Fiore let fly from all of thirty yards. The Harriers 'keeper did well to parry his drive, but could not prevent Steve Scott following up and scoring from three yards.

The remainder saw Kidderminster pushing forward. Trevor Bunting pulled off a series of fine saves to keep Slough in the reckoning.

As the final whistle approached the home attacks became increasingly dangerous. The Harriers looked to have scored the decider in the last minute with Bunting beaten, the ball thudded against the upright and from the last kick of the match Bunting had to be of his best to pull off another fine diving save to earn us a point.
