Bio
Diminuitive striker who almost single handedly saved the Rebels from relegation in the 2000-01 season.Asamoah learned his trade at the Protec Football Academy in North London. Whilst at the Academy, he played for semi-professional side Hampton & Richmond Borough. Signed from Hampton & Richmond Borough and scored some important goals in the relegation run-in but was not enough to save the Rebels from the drop. Has since gone on to play professionally for a number of clubs in League Two including Northampton Town, Mansfield and Lincoln City. Has represented Ghana at full international level and has also featured for OGC Nice, Hamilton Academicals, Lokomotiv Sofia and Pohang Steelers.
Scored his first international goal against Gabon in November 15th 2011, with the winner against Gabon.
