The biggest crowd of the season saw Slough put up another poor showing, this time against their landlords, as they came away empty handed.
In what should have been a scintillating encounter between the two sides, both hopeful of one of the six promotion slots on offer this season, Slough will have been disappointed to have not tested Martini more frequently.
Windsor were happy to soak up any Slough pressure, with former Rebel Leon Townley in amongst the Royalists defensive line up, and hit the "home" side on the break with Scott and O'Connor forming a dangerous attacking partnership which the Rebels struggled to contain all through the match.
Slough did manage to take the lead in the game shortly before half time, but it was luck more than good play which created the goal. Windsor passed the ball back to Martini, who under pressure from Miller, let the ball roll under his foot and into the net.
Slough's delight only lasted a few minutes. The dangerous Carroll whipped in a free kick which was met by Scott to head home and restore parity to the scoreline.
Things went from bad to worse for Slough as Windsor took the lead in the fifty first minute. Scott again rising well to head home a left wing cross.
Slough's misery was compounded when O'Connor completed the scoring on the hour. Running through on the counter, he made no mistake and fired home past Foster to put Windsor up by two.
Whilst Slough started well, Windsor were much the better side throughout and the Rebels will be hoping for a better performance in the return fixture in April to restore some local bragging rights.
