Following last weeks big win over Epsom, Slough fans made the short journey to Marlow with high hopes of a rare win at their Buckinghamshire rivals.
Despite some good approach play from both sides, neither had the required quality in front of goal to make those chances count. The Rebels injury woes continued into this game as Spencer and Miller both picked up serious looking injuries, whilst Hodges was also treated for a head injury during the game.
Miller was the first to go close for Slough with a volley which flashed narrowly wide of the post.
Marlow's first chance came from a set piece after Wilkinson had brought down a Marlow forward but the free kick hit the wall for a corner which was cleared.
Miller was again the recipient of Slough's approach play but again could not find the target as his header from Daly's right side cross went over.
The second half continued in much the same manner as the first. Both sides playing well, but defences were mainly on top.
Slough did manage to get some opportunities though. Browne had a shot following a driving run into the box from deep and Daly had a header tipped over but neither keeper was seriously tested.
