Attendance: 1763
A poor display on the dry bumpy slope at The Huish saw Slough lose against a side they are more than capable of beating.
A crowd of 1,763 saw good displays from Alan Pluckrose and Trevor Bunting, in a first half dominated by the hosts.
The only game came after the Slough defence stood still and a ball from the corner area from Conning caught Anderson flat footed and Spence scored.
Pluckrose hit the upright soon after but other wise the pressure was all from Yeovil.
Wilson missed several chances but didn't miss kicking Darren Anderson with the bizarre result of both players being cautioned.
It could have been 4-0 at half time and it was with the knowledge that they had been let off the hook to a certain degree that the Rebels penned their task with rather more enthusiasm in the second half.
Good saves by Bunting from Carroll and Spencer kept Slough in the game and the home fans must have worried that they had lost their chance as Slough pressed forward.
But the Rebels just couldn't find the back of the net despite winning live second half corners.
Donnellan had one shot saved by the keeper and another was put over the top and at the death Darren Anderson sent a good shot just wide of the post.
A piece of double retaliation should have seen Spencer and Stacey both walk, but they were allowed to see out the dying moments of the game.
Had Slough managed a point though it would have been an unfair reflection of the difference between the two sides on the day.
