Slough Town carried on their revival in the Berger Isthmian League smart all-round performance which saw them blast three goals past a Leytonstone side fighting for survival at the bottom of the Premier Division.

It was Peter Feely, who was the toast of the Rebel fans, after scoring three goals and so continuing the great form which has seen him score five times in as many games.

Slough were always the better side, and with Dave Russell playing like his old self and causing panic in the 'Stones defence with his sharp attacking runs and floating crosses, the small crowd who braved the dreary November day were treated to an entertaining game.

Some credit however, must go to lowly Leytonstone, who never allowed themselves to become disillusioned, and with determination held Slough until the second half.

By this time the Slough attack had formulated their goalscoring strategy, and early in the second period they struck through Feely.

Underwood, back in the squad after injury, floated a long free kick into the box from 18 yards inside the 'Stones half, and with a brilliant piece of skill, the ex-Chelsea striker rose to score a spectacular goal with his head from the edge of the area.

Unfortunately, in true Slough style, Leytonstone were allowed to come back at the visitors, and really should have scored when Teale parried a shot, but saved the match by recovering to snatch the ball from the feet of an oncoming striker.

This let-off shook Slough, and mostly due to Leytonstone’s inadequacies, they were allowed to regain control of the match and so score their second.

Dave Russell produced a neat piece of individual skill to worm his way down the right flank, and as he crossed to the far post, Metcalfe's nod went across the goalmouth for a grateful Feely to head home his second goal.

Ian Cooke, who has proved himself to be one of the most consistent players in the Slough squad this season, weaved through the defence only to see his stinging shot hit the as the Rebels slowly began take the home side apart.

And although this caused some panic, the hosts saw Teale save from close range, they could not contain the effervescent Feely, who took up an upfield pass and ran away to blast home his third.
