Slough sealed off their last away pre-season game with a convincing 5-0 win in Binfield, writes Henry Cheal.
With the opening half hour end to end, Binfield created a few opening chances but they were either over the bar or saved by Jonathan North.
Despite no goals being scored inside the first half hour, goals from George Wells and Imran Kayani gave Slough a two goal lead at the interval.
Though Binfield controlled the first 15 minutes of the second half and tried to find a goal back to halve the deficit, Matthew Lench put the game to bed by scoring from the far post after he dribbled past the Binfield defence.
The goals kept on coming for Slough as Johnny Goddard produces a cross which was left untouched as the keeper couldn’t quite save it.
Then with 10 minutes until the final whistle, Manny Williams scored from the spot to complete the scoring.
