Slough Town drew 1-1 with Fulham’s Under 23 side in the warm evening sunshine on Wednesday.

The Rebels took an early lead when a poor pass out from the back landed at the feet of Aaron Kuhl, who made no mistake in beating goalkeeper Ashby-Hammond.

Before this, Fulham midfielder Luke Harris volleyed just over from close range after some good link up play between Luciano D’Auria-Henry and Terry Ablade.

But later in the first half, Harris levelled the scores. Ollie O’Neill curled in a cross from the left and the 16-year-old was on hand to touch the ball home with his chest.

Both sides made changes at half time and throughout the second half, with the visitors creating the better of the opportunities. On 69 minutes, O’Neill’s powerful run down the left led to Michael Olakigbe firing wide.

Slough were again able to give opportunities to a number of their Under 23 side, with Joe Lawal, Lewis Pegg, Gabe George, Rowan Smith and the returning Ada Okorogheye all featuring.

Two minutes from the end, Fulham were handed a huge chance to secure the win when Dibley-Dias was tripped in the box, but Ollie Sanderson’s spot kick was well saved by Jonathan North.
