These teams met at Slough on Saturday in the return encounter.
The opening exchanges were very even and corners were awarded either side.
Roach opened the scoring for the homesters and the player put on a second goal shortly after from a pass by Wallis.
Slough tried hard to reduce the lead but failed to find the net. Before the interval Roach
scored a third goal from a grand centre by Cornwall, and at half time the homesters led by three to nil.
Directly after the restart Southall obtained a fourth goal through Wallis and a few minutes later Roach, who was irresistible, put on a fifth goal.
A penalty was also awarded the homesters for hands against Smith, but Werrell saved Austin's kick.
Southall continued to have the best of the play, the Slough halves being weak. Just before the finish Denton scored the only goal for Slough, who were beaten by
five goals to one.
