Bio
Grant Eaton joined Slough Town in 1992 following three years with Watford and a spell with Burnham. Grant enjoyed success with both the Youth and Reserve Teams. He captained the Youth Team to two cup final victories in 1995 and was a member of the Reserve side that won the All Champions Cup. Grant's hard work and ability was rewarded with the opportunity to sign a contract with Slough which Grant regards as one of his greatest achievements and on Tuesday 8th October achieved his First Team debut against Kettering in the Spalding Cup.Grant is otherwise known as "Herbie" and it has been intriguing how he gained this nickname; Grant has two theories, the first being that his dad named him that when he was young and the other is that he is a love bug!!! Away from football Grant worked as a football coach with Mencap, coaching many disadvantaged children and when he has the time enjoys golf and swimming.
