High profile signing who followed manager Dave Russell to Wexham Park from neighbours Marlow for a fee in the region of eight thousand pounds in the summer of 1994.

David hailed from Marlow where he ran a sports shop from which supplied the club with goods from time to time. He began his career at Reading as a junior, and then joined Chesham United before spending some time at Dunstable before returning to his home town where he eventually captained the side as well as scoring Marlow's goal at White Hart Lane during their gallant FA Cup third round visit. When he left Marlow last winter he had already notched ten goals and was still the leading scorer there when the season ended. Scoring in his first game at Wexham Park he subsequently broke his toe, and injury that handicapped him for the rest of the season. His vital last-minute penalty kick against Hitchin in our home match with the Hertfordshire side earned three vital points in the chase for the runners-up spot.

Made just 26 appearances for the club before moving on, scoring five times in the process.
