Alex Wines

Bio

Goalkeeper coach Alex Wines joined the club after the appointment of Scott Davies as manager.

Alex is 29 years old and holds a BSc honours degree in physical and sport education and works as a full-time teacher.

He has been coaching goalkeepers for 14 years, of all ages and abilities. He has been QPR's lead goalkeeper coach at their development centre for four years. His other coaching experience was at Bedfont Sports, CB Hounslow, Promise Football Academy and Hampton & Richmond Borough Academy.

He spent all his senior playing career in step 5 and 6 with Bedfont Sports and CB Hounslow, even grabbing a league record in step 6 for most clean sheets. He stopped playing at 24 due to injuries.
