Jamal Branker

Jamal Branker Position: Midfielder

Bio

Jamal Branker is a 19 year old wide player who joined the club in August 2014.

Jamal is a fast and skilful winger, who was with Southampton from the age of 9 until the summer of 2014. Whilst with the Saints' development team, he once scored nine goals in a single game against Reading.

Branker recovered from a long-term knee injury to return to the under-18s side in the last few weeks of the 2012/13 season to earn an extended scholarship. In season 2013/14, Jamal spent two loan periods in the Southern League, Premier Division, with Frome Town and AFC Totton, so he knows the league and will give Slough another attacking option.

He was recommended to Neil Baker and Jon Underwood and signed forms to play for the Rebels after training with the club.
