Achievements

2013/14 Won promotion to Southern League, Premier Division

Bio

Gareth is a midfield player, signed by the club in March 2014.

He started his career as a youth player at Marlow, before joining Yeovil Town in 1998. He then signed for Third Division club Southend United, where he made only one appearance before being sent on loan to Dover Athletic.

He was released from Southend in January 2002, and dropped back into non-League football, representing a number of clubs, including Salisbury City, Aylesbury United and Staines Town.

He sustained a serious injury whilst playing for Staines in 2004, and had to overcome six career-saving operations after having his knee ripped apart by a bladed boot. He was out of the game for two-and-a-half years.

Risbridger joined Bracknell Town on a short loan spell, regaining his fitness. He went on to join Boreham Wood in November 2010.

Gareth is a greenkeeper and holds a UEFA 'B' Pro Licence coaching badge. He is also a qualified referee.

After making 7 appearances for Slough, Gareth moved on to become joint manager at fellow Southern League, Premier Division side and near neighbours Burnham.
