Centre-back Michael Blount joined the club in July 2013, following Neil Baker and Jon Underwood from Godalming Town.He had joined Godalming during the 2012/13 season from Chertsey Town, and has previously represented Badshot Lea, Camberley Town, Cove and Fleet Town.
Upon joining Slough, Michael joined Walton & Hersham on a dual-registration basis with a view to gaining match fitness after suffering a serious knee injury the previous season.
'Blounty' is a no nonsense centre half, and someone that the joint managers feel can develop into a top player.
