Terry Bright

Bio

First Team regular since he joined Slough Town is Terry Bright, the inside-left. Terry prefers to play deep, relying on accurate defence splitting passes to send away the rest of his forwards and has made goals galore for the rest of the attack.

He is not above having a go himself and possesses one of the strongest shots in the whole forward line. But one of the goals for which he will long be remembered came from his head at Wolverton and was responsible for Slough getting through to the semi-final of the county senior cup.

Terry went to school in Chiswick and later played for the Army Garrison team at Bicester. He joined Southall his only senior club apart from Slough and was in their first team regularly until he moved to the Dolphin.

During that time he played for Middlesex F.A. and London F.A. Married, with a daughter, Terry worked as a profile miller.

Skilful former Southall midfielder who played regularly during the first half of the ill fated 1960/61 season before leaving for Hounslow Town.
