Centre Forward. Signed from Shoreditch Teacher Training College.Roy was a Student in his final year at Shorditch College in Englefield Green when he joined Slough in 1968. He left the area in April of that year, but continued playing in The Welsh League and then a couple of seasons with Carshalton, before emigrating out to Canada, where he continues to play to this day although he is now 70.
There is a very strong Masters game here on Vancouver Island, and Roy is President, and plays for (full rules, not walking) the Nanaimo Masters Soccer Club.
