With the 2025/26 National League South campaign kicking off tomorrow, we are pleased to confirm new additions to the first team squad – along with a contract for one of our pre-season standouts.
Forward Kit Elliott, 24, links up with the Rebels after completing a three-year degree and football scholarship in America. Kit, who will also be starting a new role as a maths teacher in September, featured in our final three pre-season matches.
A product of the youth academies at Chelsea and Crystal Palace, Kit went on to sign a two-year deal with Huddersfield Town in 2022 and also represented Cork City in the League of Ireland Men’s Premier Division during the 2020 season. He will wear the number 21 shirt this season.
We are delighted to welcome back Michael Edegbe, 23, who re-joins from Southall. An Academy23 graduate, Michael made four first team appearances for Slough in 2021 – including a 3-1 FA Trophy win over Eastbourne Borough – and has also played for Egham Town, Flackwell Heath, Hayes & Yeading United and Uxbridge.
Michael will provide strong competition and backup to Adam Desbois and will wear the number 13 shirt.
Former MK Dons U18 forward Josh Adepoju, 19, joins the Rebels after impressing for our Elite Development Squad. Josh featured throughout pre-season, scoring against Hanwell Town and creating opportunities in other fixtures.
We can also confirm that Noah Hay, 19, will be part of our first team squad for the new season. The versatile right-footed defender joined Slough last November after spells with Chelsea and Reading, and made his senior debut against Chelmsford City later that month. He has primarily featured for our EDS side, with a brief spell at Fleet Town, and will be looking to build on his first National League South appearance this term.
Finally, we are delighted to announce that Jared Myers, 21, has signed a one-year contract with the club. The forward has impressed during pre-season with his work rate and attacking threat, and now commits his future to the Rebels for the 2025/26 campaign.
The Rebels begin their season away at Tonbridge Angels tomorrow afternoon, with kick-off at 3pm.
