Match Information: Slough Town vs Southend United (Tuesday 29 July, 7:45pm)
Slough Town welcome National League opposition to Arbour Park on Tuesday evening, with Southend United providing the toughest test of pre-season so far.
This fixture was arranged as part of the agreement that saw Leon Parillon move from Slough to Southend earlier this year. Former Rebels striker Slavi Spasov also joined the Shrimpers in the summer.
Scott Davies’ side will be looking to continue their recent good form, having recorded wins over Basingstoke Town and Hanwell Town, scoring six goals in the process, with a behind-closed-doors draw against a strong Reading side in-between. Tuesday’s match is Slough’s penultimate game of pre-season, with a trip to Wealdstone to come next weekend.
Southend come into the game following a strong 2024/25 campaign which saw them narrowly miss out on promotion from the National League after a play-off final defeat at Wembley Stadium.
