Having done extremely well at Step 3 last season, it feels like the right time for Jaiden to step up to our level
Scott Davies
We are excited to announce the signing of Jaiden Drakes-Thomas.
Jaiden is a 20-year-old midfielder who started last season at Dover Athletic, playing twice and scoring once. He then moved to Wingate & Finchley in the Isthmian League Premier Division.
Jaiden came through the ranks at Colchester United, playing for the Under 18 and Under 21 sides there, and then moved to Sevenoaks Town, making 22 appearances for the club in 2023/24 before his move to the coast. He joined Dover Athletic in March 2024.
Manager, Scott Davies commented: "I first saw Jaiden play at Arbour Park for Sevenoaks Town against Uxbridge. He was only 18 at the time but I’ve monitored him since.
"Having done extremely well at Step 3 last season, it feels like the right time for Jaiden to step up to our level. At only 20 years old, he fits the profile of someone that we believe we can work with to help kick on in their career."
Welcome to the club, Jaiden!
