15/05/25

The Football Association has confirmed the club allocations for the 2025/26 season, with Slough Town once again placed in the National League South.

The division welcomes several new clubs this season. Relegated from the National League are Ebbsfleet United, Maidenhead United, and Dagenham & Redbridge. The return of Maidenhead means a highly anticipated all-Berkshire derby is back on the calendar, with local pride at stake when the Rebels meet the Magpies, whilst Slough will face the Daggers for the first time since the 1999/2000 season.

Three clubs in the division have earned promotion from Step 3:
Horsham, champions of the Isthmian League Premier Division
Dover Athletic, Isthmian League Premier Division playoff winners
AFC Totton, winners of the Southern League Premier South playoff final

One remaining place in the division is yet to be confirmed. Boreham Wood and Maidstone United are set to meet in the National League South promotion final — the winner will go up to the National League, while the loser will remain in the South division for 2025/26.

The confirmed National League South clubs for 2025/26 are:

AFC Totton
Bath City
Chelmsford City
Chesham United
Chippenham Town
Dagenham & Redbridge
Dorking Wanderers

Eastbourne Borough
