I’m incredibly excited to take on this role at Slough Town. Having come through the academy, I know firsthand how football can inspire and bring people together
Ben Mulley, Community Football Development Officer
Slough Town Football Club is delighted to welcome Ben Mulley as our new Community Football Development Officer.
At Slough Town, we believe the community is at the heart of our club’s growth. We are committed to investing in local initiatives, including free football sessions in primary schools, the continuation of our highly successful camps, while expanding our outreach through partnerships with key stakeholders to meet the evolving needs of our community.
Ben is no stranger to Slough Town. A product of our academy, he joined the full-time programme at 16, studying at our partner school, Cox Green, before progressing to Bucks New University to study Strength & Conditioning while training full-time with A23. His dedication played a key role in the success of our U23s squad, and he has continued his playing career, recently helping Marlow achieve promotion before moving to Hanworth Villa.
Ben’s coaching journey began at Maidenhead United’s Magpies in the Community, and his appointment at Slough Town marks an exciting step forward for the club. His role will be pivotal in shaping our community engagement strategy, developing brand awareness, and making a positive impact through football.
Ashley Smith, Slough Town FC CEO, commented:
“Ben shone through during a rigorous and competitive interview process. He truly embodies the values we want to represent in the community. I have no doubt that he will have a significant impact on the club over the coming years.”
Ben Mulley added:
“I’m incredibly excited to take on this role at Slough Town. Having come through the academy, I know firsthand how football can inspire and bring people together. I look forward to working with the community, growing our initiatives, and making a real difference.”
