Leon Parillon
We are delighted to announce that Leon Parillon has extended his contract with the club until the end of the 2025/26 season.
Leon initially joined the club on loan in April 2022 before a permanent move in the summer of 2023, and since then his performances have gone from strength to strength, becoming almost ever-present in midfield under Scott Davies.
Upon extending his contract, Leon commented: “I'm delighted to sign a new contract with Slough. It's a decision that I'm really blessed and excited to have made.
“The way the club wants to progress, and the environment built over the last 18 months align with my beliefs as a person and as a footballer. I'm someone who is always looking to improve my game and I’m confident that with this group of players, coaches and fans, this is the best place for me to do just that.
“I'm looking forward to keeping my head down and working even harder to achieve some more great moments for myself and the club.”
Manager, Scott Davies was delighted, commenting: “Securing the services of Leon for an extra year on top of his current deal is massive for us as a football club.
“I think it goes without saying that he’s become a massive fans’ favourite since joining the club as a trialist in the summer of 2023.
“His performances so far this year haven’t surprised me if I’m honest as I’ve known for years that Leon’s ceiling is extremely high, but it’s great to see that he’s now showing that. He’s comfortable in his surroundings and I feel as though that’s played a huge part in getting the best out of him.
“For me, he’s one of the best midfielders in the league with the number of attributes he has in his armoury, and I’m sure that his future will be one of an upward trajectory.”
