We recently partnered with SHOC (Slough Homeless Our Concern) and Trinity to host The Big Sleepout at Arbour Park, where members of the community came together to raise funds for Slough’s homeless population by sleeping on the concrete concourse.
The evening began with live music, entertaining games, and a variety of food and drink vendors, offering a vibrant atmosphere that was enjoyed by over 120 attendees.
A dedicated group of 40 brave individuals stayed overnight, helping to raise an incredible £15,000 for this vital cause. Among them, our very own Club Secretary, Kay Lathey, raised an impressive £810, while seven members of our Man v Fat XI contributed a remarkable £2,260 collectively.
A massive thank you goes out to everyone who participated, supported, or helped organize this fantastic event. Special recognition goes to our bar manager, Stuart Adnitt, for his outstanding efforts in making it all happen.
Well done to everyone involved!
