Slough Town Football Club is proud to join the Safer Slough Partnership and collaborate with organisations such as Thames Valley Police and Slough Borough Council (SBC) to support White Ribbon Day 2024.
White Ribbon UK is a leading charity in the UK that engages men and boys to help end violence against women and girls.
At tomorrow’s home game against Welling United, you will notice a range of partner agencies, organisations, and charities in attendance. These groups work tirelessly with children, families, and survivors—both men and women—affected by domestic abuse.
Everyone at Slough Town FC, from club officials and volunteers to the first-team squad, is asking you, the fans, to join the White Ribbon promise:
“I promise to never use, excuse, or remain silent about men’s violence against women and girls.”
If you get the chance, approach one of the attending partners to learn more, make the promise, and wear the White Ribbon with pride. Together, we can stand against domestic abuse and support a safer future for all.
