We are pleased to announce the return of 25-year-old forward Francis Amartey.
Francis is back at Arbour Park for a third spell, having originally signed for the club in February 2019.
He returned to Slough on loan from Aldershot Town in January 2023, playing in 11 games and scoring twice – including the winning goal at Hampton & Richmond – as the Rebels secured safety. After leaving the Shots in the summer of 2023, Francis joined Ayr United in the Scottish Championship, and most recently signed for fellow National League South side Weymouth back in June.
Amartey, who can play either through the centre or on the flank, was born in London and also previously played for Beaconsfield Town and Flackwell Heath. He was also registered with the FAB Academy, where he worked closely with former Rebels player-coach Lee Togwell before signing a professional contract with Birmingham City in August 2018.
Francis is eligible to feature in Saturday’s Emirates FA Cup tie at Chatham Town.
