We are delighted to partner with Reading Football Club, which will see their Women’s team use Arbour Park as their training base and home ground for the 2024/25 season.
Reading Women will compete in the Southern Region Women's Football League during the upcoming campaign – Tier 5 of the women’s game. They will play home games at 2pm on Sunday afternoons, and their first two home league matches will be against Oxford City (Sunday 15 September) and Woodley United (Sunday 29 September).
Ashley Smith, CEO of Slough Town Football Club has the following to say:
“The recent developments at the stadium which improve both player and fan experience have made it an exciting place to be.
“I have been fortunate to know Dave Evans of Reading Football Club for many years. When we had our initial discussion I was keen to explore how we could facilitate their Women’s team whilst not impacting our existing teams.
“We look forward to working with Dave and his team for the coming season.”
