He’s a really exciting signing who fits the bill of how we want to look

We are pleased to announce the signing of 25-year-old forward Kweku Lucan.
Kweku made two appearances during our pre-season campaign, notably scoring two goals in our 4-1 victory over Potters Bar Town last Saturday.
Kweku's career began as a youth player with Peterborough United before he moved on to play for several clubs. He joined Northwood in July 2018, where he became a fan favourite and was featured in their ‘Team of the Decade’ for the 2010s.
Kweku has also had spells at St Albans City, Biggleswade Town, Wingate & Finchley and Billericay Town, where he scored against the Rebels in a 2-1 defeat.
In recent seasons, Kweku played for Hanwell Town in 2022/23 and Carshalton Athletic in the 2023/24 season.
Manager, Scott Davies commented: “I’m delighted to secure the signing of Kweku. ‘Kweks’ is someone that I’ve known for a few years now after spending a short period of time together at Biggleswade Town. At that time, he impressed me and since then I’ve always kept an eye on his progress and stayed in touch throughout.
“He’s a really exciting signing who fits the bill of how we want to look and I’m sure he will be a great addition to the team”.
