On behalf of Slough Town Football Club and Thames Hospice, we would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who either donated money or bought raffle tickets for the shirt draw on Saturday.
Due to the unfortunate circumstances at the game, and with many people leaving the ground after the announcement that the game was abandoned, we decided to postpone the raffle draw.
There are legal responsibilities when anyone organises a raffle and we need to make sure we proceed correctly. All tickets bought remain valid, and when we do draw the winning tickets, whether in front of fans or behind closed doors, they will be held until the prizes have been claimed.
We are still looking at holding an auction for both Scott Davies’ and Dan Lincoln’s shirts and we will update fans on this as soon as we can.
Once again, we want to thank everyone for their generosity in supporting a fantastic local charity, and for your understanding in unusual circumstances.
