As announced last week, we are delighted to be partnering with Thames Hospice to help raise awareness and fundraise for this fantastic local charity. Saturday’s match against Bath City will be our nominated charity day with various fundraising activities taking place.
Half time and post-match activities
We will be holding a half time activity for children, who will need to register their names before the game with a donation of £1 required. There will be a limited number of places, available on a first come, first served basis. The winner will receive a Slough Town goodie bag.
There will be a post-match fundraiser for adults which will take place on the pitch after the players have left. This will be a target-based activity and will again have limited numbers, on a first come, first served basis with a donation of £5 required. Again a goodie bag will be on offer for the winner!
Supporters can register for both activities at the Supporters Trust gazebo by turnstile 4.
Raffle of one-off Thames Hospice shirts
We are only able to sell tickets on the day, and unfortunately cannot take orders online or over the phone.
Of the shirts in the Thames Hospice colours, there will be 12 available to win via the purchase of raffle tickets on the day. Tickets are priced at £2.50 each or 5 for £10. Supporters can buy these from a stall near to the Supporters Trust gazebo. The draw will take place at around 5.30pm on the pitch.
Two shirts will be auctioned off after the raffle – Dan Lincoln’s goalkeeper top and Scott Davies’ shirt. These will go to the highest bidders on the day.
Please be aware that the shirts will be match-worn and therefore will not be washed before being given away!
We encourage all supporters to stay after the game – we will also have a local band, The Scallywags playing in the bar to keep you entertained.
