The Community Team currently sits proudly at the top of the BOBi Premiership despite losing our opening game to a last minute MK Jaguars goal scored direct from a corner.
We didn't take our chances in that game but certainly did in the next, scoring five past Northampton Town (Gealy 2, Asuming 2, Farhan), winning 1-0 against MK Warriors (Asuming) and then defeating Oxford City 3-0 (Gealy 2, Asuming). The second team struggled in the Championship this month, finishing with two scoreless draws and three defeats, but this was with a much depleted team, and they will certainly improve over the coming months.
Following on from last season's success in reaching the regional 11-a-side disability cup finals, we are excited to begin our campaign in the newly formed South East Pan-Disability League.
We commence with a home game on Sunday 22nd October versus Sutton United, in the Western Division that includes teams from Chelsea, Bournemouth and Southampton.
