We are pleased to announce the signing of two Academy23 graduates to Scott Davies’ first team for the 2023/24 season.
Kai Allsopp is an intelligent 18-year-old midfielder who has played Step 3 football for Beaconsfield Town. He joined A23 from Bradfield School where he was an ISFA international. He was also previously with Reading Academy.
He commented: “I’m delighted to have signed with Slough for next season. It will be my first full season in men’s football and I feel this is the best place to continue my development under Scotty’s management.
“I’m looking forward to the challenge of playing at a higher level and learning from experienced players throughout the season.”
Oscar Lucey is a 19-year-old left sided player who has been a standout performer at A23 for both the U19s and U23s in 2022/23. He joined A23 from Watford’s football programme in partnership with Westfield Academy.
He added: “I’m buzzing to be signing for a great club with a lot of ambition heading into the new season. Can’t wait to get started!”
