We are pleased to announce the double loan signing of Luca Woodhouse and George Alexander for the remainder of the season.
19-year-old defender Luca Woodhouse joins the club from Wycombe Wanderers for a second loan spell.
He joined for an initial 28 days in December 2022, and the arrangement was extended another month after some impressive performances for the Rebels.
Striker George Alexander, 22, joins on loan from Bromley having spent time on loan with Welling United this season, scoring four goals in 11 appearances for the ‘Wings’, including a hat-trick against the Rebels last month.
On signing the duo, manager Scott Davies commented:
“I’m delighted that Luca has rejoined the club. He did very well for us in his first loan spell so we’re happy to bring him back into the fold.
“He will give us good balance on the left hand side of defence, an area which we’ve tried to fill lately with myself and Lee Togwell playing there.
“I’m sure the fans will be happy to see him return!
“Bringing George in until the end of the season is great news for us. He was a real thorn in our side a few weeks back scoring a hat-trick so to have him in our team now is a real bonus.
“His work rate and endeavour off the ball is infectious, similar to what Alfonso (Tenconi) brought us last season, so to bring that type of player into the squad is a brilliant news.
“We owe a massive thanks to the board for their help in getting both deals done.”
Luca and George will both be available for selection for Saturday’s home National League South match against Ebbsfleet United.
