Aaron Kuhl leaves the club to join National League side Dorking Wanderers.

We can confirm that we have mutually agreed with Aaron Kuhl that his contract with the club be terminated, and that he be allowed to join Dorking Wanderers, following an approach by the National League club.

Manager Scott Davies commented:

“I’ll refer back to my players’ player of the season presentation speech last year when announcing Kuhly as the deserved winner. On that day I said that if it wasn’t for injuries then he would undoubtedly be playing in a higher league.

“The opportunity to join Dorking Wanderers was put to Kuhly and he expressed his desire to play at the next level. With him being injured at this moment in time, to release him from his contract works for all parties involved as he would have most likely departed at the expiration of his deal at the end of April.

“It’s no secret as to what we think of him as a player but more importantly as a person. He’s conducted himself brilliantly and stayed loyal when he could have left on many occasions and for that we are extremely grateful.

“There’s no hiding that we will miss his quality and what he brings to the group, but he leaves on great terms and we wish him nothing but the very best.”
