Manager Scott Davies said: “It was massive for us to keep hold of Kuhly at a time when the squad is in transition, with some players coming in and some leaving.
“For me, Kuhly is not only one of the best midfielders in the league, but also someone who leads by example on and off the pitch.
“He is someone that we trust wholeheartedly and it’s great that he has shown loyalty to the club in signing a contract despite having offers to go elsewhere.”
Aaron Kuhl added: “It was a huge decision for me to choose to stay at the club during this time.
“At one point I didn’t think I would finish the season at Slough, however I am not one to walk away from the club or teammates in the face of a challenge.
“We definitely have some hard work to do to turn our season around, but I know with the lads we have at the moment, we can push up the league.
“I’m fully behind Scotty, Togs and the new management!
“Thanks to all the fans who have stuck with us and shown support home and away, let’s continue this in the second half of the season! On to Saturday!”
