Slough Town Football Club is proud to join the Safer Slough Partnership and work with other partners such as Thames Valley Police and Slough Borough Council as we stand together to support White Ribbon Day 2022.
White Ribbon is one of the leading charities in the UK engaging men and boys to end violence to women and girls.
For our home game on Tuesday 6 December against Concord Rangers, you will see several partner agencies, organisations and charities who work with children, families and survivors, both men and women, affected by domestic abuse.
Everyone at Slough Town, from club officials and volunteers to our first team squad are asking you the fans to join the White Ribbon promise:
“I promise to never use, excuse or remain silent about men’s violence against women”
Our players have recorded messages of support and will wear White Ribbon t-shirts during the warmup and walk out before the game to show their support.
If you see an opportunity, speak with one of the representatives from the partners attending, make the promise and wear the White Ribbon with pride.
