We are delighted to announce the signing of striker Dan Roberts on a one-month loan from Dartford, writes Jon Underwood.
Dan is obviously well-known to the Rebels fans from his previous time at the club and with his game time being limited at the start of the season, and with Elliot Benyon injured, this represents a good opportunity for him and us. He has trained with us this week and will be in the squad for Saturday's game at Braintree.
As with all managers, we have a budget to work to and with another striker being our clear priority we have had to balance the books. After a very honest chat with James Dobson this week it was agreed that he would leave the club to enable him to find a more permanent opportunity to play week in week out. With the injuries he has suffered in recent seasons it's vital that Dobbo has the opportunity to start games more regularly and we wish him all the very best.
