Slough Town Football Club is delighted to team up with Slough Council for Voluntary Service, known as Slough CVS, as the club works toward building on its presence and resourcefulness in the town’s community.
Slough CVS is an established charity running for over 80 years and exists to improve the quality of life of people in Slough and to make a difference to the community, and this is something that the club firmly believes in.
We have donated 10 season tickets to Slough CVS and the charity will distribute these to the voluntary groups they work with, allowing each to experience the matchday atmosphere at Arbour Park.
Club director Ade Gomm said:
“This is a fantastic opportunity for Slough Town FC to build a partnership with a local charity that works so closely with voluntary groups in the town.
“Our aim is to provide Slough CVS with a venue and experience to volunteers who work and help with residents and also to attend these groups in the future to see if we can help these charities in any way we can.”
