We look forward to our first home league game of the season tomorrow as we welcome Tonbridge Angels to Arbour Park, writes Jon Underwood.
It was a tough start for us last week away at a very strong Havant side, and we were obviously disappointed to start with a defeat - however we know there is so much more to come from this side and after a really positive week in training we will hope to bounce back tomorrow.
Our opponents Tonbridge had a great start last weekend, winning 3-1 at Weymouth on the opening day, and they will no doubt be in a confident mood going into this game. Their new manager Jay Saunders is someone we know from our old Ryman League days when we were at Godalming Town and he was the Maidstone United manager, and we look forward to seeing him again.
We are pleased to welcome back Josh Jackman and Matt Lench who were both unavailable last weekend. Both have trained twice this week, as has Guy Hollis who now has four full sessions under his belt since returning from a hamstring problem and is now fully in contention to play.
We will be without Ryan Bird who has a minor groin problem, and Lee Togwell who has a condition with his feet which causes terrible blisters in the heat. He had to come off last week at Havant with this issue and with the high temperatures tomorrow he cannot be considered unfortunately and we will therefore pick from the following 16 man squad:
Squad: Jonathan North, Josh Jackman, Joe Dandy, George Wells, Guy Hollis, Edon Pruti, Scott Davies, Fabio Sole, Aaron Kuhl, George Hunt, Johnny Goddard, Matt Lench, Gabe George, Imran Kayani, Ben Harris, Elliot Benyon.
