It is with regret that we announce that Academy23 have decided to move their academy operation away from Slough Town Football Club with immediate effect.
Chairman, Mike Lightfoot said: “While we are disappointed to see Academy23 move on, we thank them for their hard work at Slough Town and we believe that the two-year relationship was beneficial to both parties. We wish Academy23 well in all their future endeavours.”
Although this is disappointing, it gives us the opportunity to formulate a new strategy for the development of young players under the Slough Town badge, and we will make further announcements in due course.
