National League constitutions and key dates announced for 2022/23 season

Following the National League AGM held over the weekend, the league constitutions and key dates have been confirmed.

Following the National League AGM held over the weekend, the league constitutions and key dates have been confirmed.

When will the season start and finish?
The Vanarama National League and Vanarama National League North and South seasons will all begin on the same day - Saturday 6 August.

All three divisions are set to conclude on Saturday 29 April.

When are the fixtures released?
The 2022/23 fixtures will be released on Wednesday 6 July.

What dates are the play-offs taking place?
All three Vanarama National League divisions will follow the same format for the 2022/23 season play-offs – with only the Promotion Finals taking place on different days.

Vanarama National League North/South
Eliminator A – Tuesday 2 May - 5th place vs 6th place
Eliminator B – Wednesday 3 May - 4th place vs 7th place
Semi-Final 1 – Sunday 7 May - 2nd place vs Eliminator A Winner
Semi-Final 2 – Sunday 7 May - 3rd place vs Eliminator B Winner
Promotion Final – Sunday 14 May

Kick-off times will be confirmed in due course.

When does the FA Cup and FA Trophy take place?
Dates for the 2022/23 FA Cup and FA Trophy will be confirmed by the FA in due course.
