We now enter the final weekend of our season, and having looked back on the squad from the first game of the season until today there have been a number of changes for a variety of reasons, and we have to be happy with how the season has panned out, writes Neil Baker.
Obviously mathematically we could still make the playoffs, however even the most positive people would have to admit that we would be clutching at straws, what with Havant & Waterlooville and Chippenham Town to play each other on the last day of the season.
Tomorrow will see the last home games for Sean Fraser - who will get on the pitch after a fantastic career at the club - and also Alfonso Tenconi who heads off to the USA in July for 4 years, and it would be great to see a fantastic crowd to see them off.
We find ourselves in reasonably good shape with a number of players back from loan clubs, and on the whole a pretty fit squad, and the intention is to mix up the teams over the two games.
Therefore over the two games this weekend we will pick from a 22-man squad as follows:
Jonathan North, Josh Jackman, Sean Fraser, Freddie Grant, Gabe George, Edon Pruti, Joe Dandy, Lewis Pegg, Tyler Goodrham, Scott Davies, Aaron Kuhl, George Hunt, Eitel Goueth, Matthew Lench, Kurtis Cumberbatch, Lee Togwell, Joseph Lawal, Alfie Anderson, Imran Kayani, Alfonso Tenconi, Ben Harris, and James Beauchamp.
