Following a 7-day approach from Farnborough, we can announce that Mark Nisbet will be leaving the club to join them for the remainder of the season, writes Jon Underwood.
We've had some very honest conversations with Nis in recent weeks about his future with the club, where we saw him now and with next season in mind, and although we did not want him to leave at this moment he is a non-contract player and was free to make that decision.
Since joining us back in the summer of 2016, Nis has been a great servant to the club, captaining our side on many occasions and playing a big part in our successful times, cup runs, promotion to the National League South etc. He has made 187 appearances for us and would no doubt have played more were it not for his heart issues which stopped him playing for a period of time.
He goes with our thanks for his efforts in a Rebels shirt and our very best wishes for the future.
