Squad news: Eastbourne Borough

Jon Underwood gives an update on the squad ahead of tomorrow’s Buildbase FA Trophy tie.

17/12/21

Our attention turns again to the FA Trophy tomorrow as we welcome Danny Bloor and his Eastbourne Borough side to Arbour Park with a place in the last 32 at stake, writes Jon Underwood.

Having lost to Eastbourne in the league just 4 weeks ago we are well aware of the quality they possess and a tough game is expected, however that was our only defeat in the past 9 games (league and FA Trophy) and we have plenty of form and confidence ourselves going in to this game.

We are without the suspended Jonathan North (one match only) and so Michael Edegbe will deputise as he did so well in the game at Hungerford.

New loan signing Tyler Goodrham is ineligible for this competition, having played in an earlier round for Hayes & Yeading and for this reason his loan actually starts after the weekend.

We hope to welcome back Lee Togwell and Ben Harris to the squad following injury although we will take a late decision as to their involvement.

Gabe George is unavailable this weekend but we have added midfielder Harry Williams to the squad which is a reward for the excellent season he is having with the under 23's, and we will go in to the game with an 18-man squad.

Just a reminder that we will be making a presentation to Warren Harris on the pitch before the game to thank him for his magnificent contribution to the club and we ask that as many people as possible try to get to the game to give him a much deserved round of applause and recognise his service to Slough Town.

Squad: Michael Edegbe, Josh Jackman, Freddie Grant, Sean Fraser, Guy Hollis, Lee Togwell, Mark Nisbet, George Hunt, Aaron Kuhl, Scott Davies, Matt Lench, Eitel Goueth, Max Worsfold, Harry Williams, Joe Lawal, Ben Harris, Alfonso Tenconi, Imran Kayani.
